$2 Feeds a Student Lunch for an Entire Month!

The village of Kayenje, Uganda, is two hours away from bigger cities, much of the journey by a single dirt road. Around here, the average life expectancy is only 49 years of age.
For the past 6 years, a 100% volunteer group has taken a special interest in this area - particularly its school for 500 students.

At this school, children are fed a free lunch, which is often their only warm meal of the day as well as their only decent source of protein.

A mere $2 can feed a student here for a whole month. $10 can feed a student for a semester.
