Introduction
The Shoham Organization was established in 1984 and has since grown, diversified and advanced its activities into the areas of orchard cultivation and post-harvest handling of mango, pomegranate, “easy-peel,” dates, avocado and stone fruit. The Shoham label is recognized and sought after in the improved-quality export and Israeli domestic markets. The planning and care which Shoham devotes to developing improved fruit products has proven time and again that Shoham has the expertise enabling it to specialize and excel in the export of fruits.
Orders are packed according to the client’s preferences and specification, then shipped by sea freight or air transport, according to the product.
Shoham fruit is marketed in England, France, Germany, the Gulf States, the Netherlands, Russia, Scandinavia, South Africa and Spain.
Shoham has initiated, developed and cultivated the ready-to-eat mango market with outstanding cultivars, such as the Maya, Kent, Kasturi and Shellie.
R & D projects target market-oriented objectives, new and improved quality cultivation methods for treating orchards and eliminating the use of chemicals, and post-harvest treatment for improved shelf-life.
